I tried EWTN.com last week & just now, and get the "can't be found" screen.

Anybody know what's going on?

Just curious.

Sharon,

Go to the website and try to hold the shift key and hit the refresh icon on the top of your browser. Hope it helps.

Must be that angelic intervention. wink

It seems to be fully up & working now - tho' now it asks if I want to download Flash Maicromedia, yadda, yadda, which it NEVER did before, so mebbe they were tinkering with the site.

Go figure.

For what it's worth, EWTN was "off the air" for over two weeks for me, even though other people assured me that they were up. Then, one day, it just re-appeared.

Go figure!

Dear Sharon,

Shalom Aleichem!

Perhaps the bishops ordered them shut-down for some reason?

EWTN is run by a lot of lay-people, you know . . . wink

The EWTN Q&A forum has not been working properly for the past few weeks. Last monday a specialist came in to fix the software, and it worked fine for a day or two. Then it suddenly stopped working again on the twelfth, and has not been working since. Hopefully it will be straightened out soon.

Anthony,

You expect us to believe a farfetched story like that???? wink

If I could only decode the mystical significance...

Perhaps a deeper reflection on the subtle distinctions between the little furry cuddly haggis and the dear little haggis and their search for the rumored third subspecies of the haggis could shed light on the mystical mythic meaning! biggrin

A site that prefers Latins? Mirable dictu!

Just a thought arising from meditation on insights posted by two of my favorite posters on another thread looking for good advice.

Wisdom on the haggis!

Dear Steve:

I am still Inawe and mystified because of the failure of, or convenient avoidance by, either angel (of Glasgow or of Cow-lumbus) to confirm or deny reported reliable sightings that the haggis (the Scottish variety, that is) has developed, by evolutionary circumstance, a 3rd leg?! eek
