I'm looking for a new Chotki and wanted to shop around New England for one. Does anyone know of any stores that can ship overnight?

Otherwise, does anyone know if Eastern Christian Supply does overnight shipping? I'm off to Tokyo again this week, and don't want to go without my prayer rope! I also plan to order the Melkite Horologion. It sounds wonderful!

God bless,

Thanks, Pavel. As I recall, the Nicholai-do did not sell any prayer ropes. (They could have been out of stock...) I am planning to make my regular pilgrimage there, though. I will check and see...

I did just order some through ECS. Hopefully it will arrive before i depart!

God bless,

Gordo

PS; I'll light a candle for you there if you like!

Yes please.

If you can get 1/2 dozen pray cords and put them all over the place so you will always have at least 1.

Safe trip!

I am calling into HRM next month.

Arrive Jun 15, depart Jul 04.

Yes I will certainly pass on to Fr Maximos your best wishes. This is I suspect a big year for him.

Yes, he is soon to be Hierodeacon Maximos on Pentecost (June 11th). Give them my regards as well. Too bad you will be missing Bishop John Michael by only a few days - but surely you will have a great trip and see the newly ordained Hierodeacon at work and the rest of the monks. Many Years!

No secrets here biggrin Yes, wonderful news. Sign of things to come.

I had a great visit the last time to the USA (my first) and it was great to meet up with the monastery's freinds as they called in. I am quite excited to be honest.

Thanks for your good wishes.

Gordo, Christ is Risen!

There is an OCA Mission that runs a bookstore/shop in the Oxford area of Connecticut. You may want to check them out in the OCA directory or make some inquiries. I know this is in close proximity to your location. They are actually if memory serves me right open on Saturdays during the day.

I hope this helps.

In the Risen Christ,
Father Anthony+

Thank you, Father - I will definitely plan to pay them a visit! I miss my regular trips to visit my good friends at Light and Life! (Father Anthony Conairis is truly a great man.)
