I will be visiting near Solon next Saturday. Since St. John's in Solon has Sunday Divine Liturgy only, does anyone have suggestions for what might be the next closest church which would have Vespers/Divine Liturgy on Saturday?

Thanks for your help.

Dear Barbara,
Glory to Jesus Christ!

You are correct. St. John's in Solon has Divine Liturgy at 8:30 AM on Sunday, but no Vespers.

The icons there were written by Fr Tom Loya and are magnificant. The people, though small in numbers, are very friendly. Say hi to Olga for me. Stay for coffee after the liturgy and enjoy.

I would be interested in your thoughts after your experience. Please post reflections on your visit.

Dear Deacon El,

We have enjoyed worshipping at St. John's during past visits to the area--the folks are very welcoming and they sing beautifully! Unfortunately we won't be there on Sunday this time...

still hoping for an Eastern experience next weekend,
Barbara
