I am not certain if this is Orthodox or what, but thought it might be interesting.

The Hoskens are Evangelical Christians who have been functioning in Russia for about 15 years in a combination of traditional Bible-based evangelical ministry, rehab services (she is a rehab nursing specialist of some sort, as I recollect), and some type of bridge-building Evangelical-Orthodox ministry. My impression is that they are most notable for being more low-key in prosletyzing than most of the evangelical bodies there and that they are due some genuine kudos for their social service/rehab activities. Their cross-ministry is not a particular success from what I've heard, but it doesn't seem to have reduced their enthusiasm.

Many years,

Neil
