I got this in my Inbox a few days ago. Dave A Ukrainian immigrant goes to the Department of Motor Vehicles to apply for a driver's license. He has to take an eye test.
The clerk shows him a card with the letters:
C Z W I X N O S T A C Z
"Can you read this?" the clerk asks.
"Read it?" the Ukrainian replies, "I know the guy!"

Chtec,
I haven't seen "x" written in Latinka. Is it for the "ch" sound, a transliteration from the Cyrillic "X"?

Ungcsertezs Look, buddy, I just got the joke in my e-mail. I don't know what the X is supposed to be. Dave

I posed the question because I have read Ukrainian transliterations using the "X" for the "ch" sound and was just wondering. Didn't mean to over think the joke.
