This is an interesting statment, but I don't quite understand it.

Copts don't like to be called monophysites. This name was used by other Christians to imply that we believe only in the divinity but not the humanity of Christ.
We prefer to be called miaphysite, the exact word used by St. Cyril of Alexandria in the 3rd Ecumenical council. This means we believe in one nature: THE INCARNATE WORD OF GOD, a composite nature unique for Jesus Christ, resulting from the union of His Divinity with His Humanity.
