I was really envious of Sky King and his niece - I think her name was Penny? - flying around in that plane every week. But my favorite show as a kid was Ramar of the Jungle. My sister and I built a native hut out of blankets and chairs and hid out in it in my mom and dad's bedroom. We did everything we could to approximate the costumes of the natives, including making our own spears - which were quickly confiscated as dangerous.  It starred Jon Hall, if I remember correctly, and was the high-point of my TV week.

You had me for a second, I was thinking that you meant the 3 were on radio. Sky King was - before it ever debuted on TV, that I remember.
And his niece's name was indeed Penny, Charles.
