It is Friday morning (18 March 2005), and there is fresh hope for saving Terri Schiavo !

A Congressional Committee is planning to conduct an investigation into the Terri Schiavo case. It is the House Government Reform Committee, which is same committee that is currently investigating steroid use by baseball players. In other words, this is a serious group.

The effect would be to issue subpoenas to the doctors and others involved in the case. That, in turn, would stay (stop) the implementation of the starvation order of Terri Schiavo till the Committee completes its investigation.

Simultaneously, the Schindler family (Terri's parents) is filing a motion to a federal judge to review the actions of the Florida state government.

At minimum, these efforts will (God willing) delay the starvation of Terri Schiavo -- possibly till new legislation can be drafted and signed into law that would save her life.

Here is a link to the news story:

The power of prayer ! God is a mighty God !

Keep praying ! Terri is scheduled to be starved at 1 p.m., and it is uncertain whether the subpoenas will be honored.
