Dear staff,
I think someone has pulled a nasty prank on me, or there has been a glitch in the system. The text below my user name says "single and looking." Is this a label all newbies get, because I find it highly offensive. How do I change it?

There has been no nasty prank. You entered that data when you registered on 08-07-2006 and your profile has not changed since. It's only a guess on my part but it is likely that you saw a blank field and entered the first thing that came to your mind without realizing it would show up on every post.
The recently upgraded software was a major rewrite and the software manufacturer did not provide a method of updating user titles (that functionality will return in a future version). I will contact them to see if it is something that can be done easily in SQL.

I prefer hammer throw and distance running... my husband describes himself as "married and frightened." I'm not sure how to take that! Quite a hobby you have there Geoffery...! Administrator John: Since the new software I have tried to change mine to "member" because I had put the title of my icon instead later learning this isn't quite right. Can't change that now. Can it be fixed? Or I will be willing to wait until I can change it back and will just keep that icon of the Theotokos...after whom I am named.
