This is an extremely interesting article and it shows quite clearly that many of those who call themselves Evangelicals are siding with the Moslems of Kosovo against the Orthodox Christian population http://www.pcpf.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=379&Itemid=45 Serbia's prime minister Vojislav Kostunica today said that Serbia will never give up Kosovo, and Russia is indicating it will use it's veto power on the UN Security Council to prevent Kosovo's independence.http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/12/11/europe/EU_GEN_Serbia_Kosovo.php

I've always believed Protestantism to be nothing but a political faction, and not a religion, they've always been the first to support Massonic causes, create divisions, impose "modern values" and subvert the traditions of the society.
No wonder why Benito Juarez' first government act as the Massonic atheist that ruled Mexico during the XIX-th Century and murdered Emperor Maximilian, was to transform a Catholic church in the middle of Mexico City into a Protestant temple.
Evangelicalism is truly the religion-cult of the New World Order, now being imposed through the economic power of the American corporations in Latin-America in East Europe. They worship man, with their pastors and presiders who support causes such as the legitimacy of the State of Israel, the intrinsical goodness of the Manifest Destiny and so on.
They do not support Muslims in Kosovo, they support what is convenient to the New World Order as it is in this case, the destruction of the Serbian Nation. The establishment of an Orthodox Kingdom, or a Traditional Catholic State is simply repulsive to them.
I don't know what we are waiting to kick them out of our countries along with their bank accounts in dollars that we don't need here, to expell their children from our schools and ban their proselitysm along with that of the Hare Krishnas, Bahai's and Jehova's witnesses.

Obviously the Moslem population of Kosovo knows it would be counterproductive to attack mainly US based Evangelical churches at this stage, since bombs from America is what tipped the scales in there favor in the first place. However, if Kosovo becomes independent, I think it's growing radical Islamic cells will quickly switch the attacks to include all "infidels". Sadly, these gullible Evangelicals, see no threat to Christian civilization in Kosovo, simply because they see no Christian civilization there period. To them it seems that unless your church wasen't founded in 1895 (Church of the Nazarene) or 1914 (Assemblies of God) it can't be the true church. Moslem radicals have already gained a foothold in Bosnia-Hercegovina, through the efforts of it's extremist president Alija Izetbegovic and others, Kosovo looks to be next if things don't change.

Dear Lawrence, I don't think Pat Robertson is so naive as to listen to them. He's the only one that had the courage to condemn our actions in Kosovo. I do wish Christians would stop attacking other Christians. Shame on all of us. Zenovia

Catholic Bishop Marko Sopi testified before Congress that Kosovo should be independent and said the following: The Catholic Church has openly condemned the damage and destruction of religious sites or any other form of violence. In March 2004, the grave occurrences of arson happened as a result of the involvement of religion in politics. We believe that the assertion that Orthodox religious sites were and are being targeted and destroyed just because they happen to be Christian churches is false. If this were the case, then the same fate would have befallen the Catholic churches of Kosova. In addition, many Orthodox churches have remained not only untouched for centuries, but it was the Albanians who safeguarded them. It is important to stress that religion has no place in daily politics, and neither does the involvement of clergy in the exercise of state policies with political leaders. Identification with politics has always brought great damage to the church, as happened in Kosovas case. I am sure that if the Orthodox Church would distance itself from the authorities in Belgrade, at least when considering Kosova, it would not be viewed as a potential enemy of Albanians, and its aspirations and religious sites would never again be attacked.
As stated above, a very high percentage of the Albanian population is Muslim. Nevertheless, one may not speak of Islamic fundamentalism in Kosova. Certain individuals may have this tendency, but generally speaking one may not attach this label to Kosova.
We, as a Catholic Church, with all the necessary structures of a diocese were and continue to remain forever open to coexistence and cooperation. We wish to live together with everyone and with mutual respect for the good of all Kosovars, regardless of religion or ethnicity. This is the principle stance of the Gospel, which is exemplified by Mother Teresa of Calcutta, daughter of Kosova, and the inexhaustible deeds of the great Pope John Paul II.
Now when we are on the threshold of settling the status of Kosova, we strongly believe that there can be no other solution but independence! Kosovas independence endangers no person or country, but instead it serves the good of all Kosovars and furthers the stability and prosperity of the region. There is an article on orthodoxytoday.org about Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell speaking in support of the Serbian Orthodox Church, which surprised me!

it is astonishing that one group of Christians would side up with Satan against another group of Christians. the problem lies with that fact that most Americans are too abysmally ignorant to have any historical sense. don't my countrypersons see what sort of precedent they are trying to set here? true, Evangelicals may have more "freedom" in Kosovo than in Serbia, but they are making a Faustian deal with the devil here. for any short term benefits they may achieve in an independent Kosovo, the time will come when they will rue that day. there is no guarantee that Al Qaeda won't seize control, and do to Evangelicals what ttheir coreligionists have done to Christians for centuries. Much Love, Jonn
