I would like to offer my prayers, together with you Alex for Alice the moderator, a person that truly represents the best in the Orthodox Church. That she was willing to take time out from her busy schedule to moderate on the forum, certainly was a blessing to everyone.
God calls everyone to serve Him with the gifts that He endowed them with. Certainly her beautiful, compassionate and loving style of writing was that gift. Her brilliant usage of words, simply awe's me. Hmmm! Maybe she should be called 'Chrysostylo', (Golden pen). 
We love you Alice! It's good Alex that you asked for forgiveness. (What did he do?)

The last post I made here was supposed to be just that, my last, but I feel I must add something here.
Over the few years I have been on this forum Alice has always been the examplar of Christian charity.
She puts her faith in Christ above all else and knowing we have differences and without jeopardizing her own beliefs she chooses to take the high road and walk the common ground rather bog down in the muck and mire of our differences.
She has been battered from all sides and every angle and remains unwavering in her commitment to the Gospel.
There are those who would simply dismiss her as being condescending.
I bow to her as being Christian in the fullest sense of the word.

Alice has been and always will be a gracious lady and examplar of the Faith. how I remember when I ,and many others, came to her quick defense when a certain person, no longer part of this community, called her an idiot. despite the insults, she remained a Christian in deed as well as word. prayers for the gracious lady.
