My lovely bride, Karen, is here with me in Tokyo for the next two weeks...but she is sick with the flu, and away from home! (which makes one doubly miserable). Please remember her in your kind prayers...THank you!

What a bummer! I am guessing that the long haul flight and the accompanying exhaustion and circulating airplane germs did it. THanks all for your prayers...now I have the crud! Fortunately today is a national holiday...and my father is en route with some very powerful anti-biotics. (I think I will have bronchitis by Friday.)
This reminds me of National Lampoons "Family Vacation"...in Lent!

Another newsbreaking bulletin:
My son, Daniel (aka "dangerousdan"), has broken his leg in three places after slipping on black ice in the parking lot. He is going to need surgery to install a pin in his leg.
Please remember him as well in your prayers!
