My lovely bride, Karen, is here with me in Tokyo for the next two weeks...but she is sick with the flu, and away from home! (which makes one doubly miserable). Please remember her in your kind prayers...THank you!

God bless,

What a bummer! frown I am guessing that the long haul flight and the accompanying exhaustion and circulating airplane germs did it. frown

My humble prayers that Karen's flu virus will be healed swiftly, and that she will be able to enjoy the remainder of the two weeks enjoying Japan with her husband! smile

In Christ,
Alice

Lord have mercy on your servant, grant her healing and grace, through the prayers of your saints and especially our all holy and spotless Theotokos and ever-Virgin Mary.

I offer my prayers for Karen through the intercession of St. Bernadine of Siena.

Have you tried Kampo?

Or ginger, scallions, and prepared soybean "soup?" You should be able to find it there.

THanks all for your prayers...now I have the crud! Fortunately today is a national holiday...and my father is en route with some very powerful anti-biotics. (I think I will have bronchitis by Friday.)

This reminds me of National Lampoons "Family Vacation"...in Lent!

Dr. Eric, you are speaking Japanese to me. Please splain.

God bless,

Gordo

Kampo is the traditional Japanese herbal medicine which was carried in from the Mainland some 1200-1300 years ago.

The formulae are standardized by the Japanese government and only doctors can prescribe them. Very safe, very powerful, and all natural.

If you want the recipe for the soup, which works wonders especially when you drink mint tea with it, PM me and I'll give it to you and you can go to the market and get the stuff. smile

This sinner continues his prayers for your wife.

Thanks Lance and Doc...

Another newsbreaking bulletin:

My son, Daniel (aka "dangerousdan"), has broken his leg in three places after slipping on black ice in the parking lot. He is going to need surgery to install a pin in his leg.

Please remember him as well in your prayers!

You are just having a roaring good time aren't you???

So while you are busy snuffling and shivering please say a little prayer for this old gurl too, eh? Been doing some picture taking on this aging cage of mine, lookin' for craters and moon rocks and stuff. They found some stuff. Just need to go find out what kind of stuff now. That should take your mind off yer trubbles!! smile

You take care of yourself and Karen and get well.

Doc....we need summa that soup!! Go on and post the potion!!

Mary
