It seems you've been the object of the evil eye. First your wife, then you and now your son. Certainly I'll pray for you.
My Dearest Lord Jesus,
Through the intercessions of Your mother, our Blessed Theotokos, and the intercessions of our miracle worker, Saint Nektarios, watch over dear Gordo and his family. Give them abundant health. See that they will enjoy the remainder of their trip ... and please help heal his son.

Dear Friends,
Our middle son, Alex, has just broken his wrist at school playing speedball and is in the ER right now.
He also fell on his knee and it is probably sprained.
I'm not one to throw out phrases like "spiritual attack", but...
Please keep my family in your prayers. We entrust ourselves to the Mantle of the Theotokos and the Archangel Michael.

I just got to these recent posts.
Through the intercession of the Holy and Righteous Prophet Daniel I pray for Dangerous Dan and the healing of his leg.
Through the intercession of St. Alexander I pray for the healing of Alex.
Through the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel, I pray that the physical attacks against "The Gordo Family" will cease.
Lord have mercy on them!

Thank you all very, very much. I really wish I could go home. I'm here on business for one more week, though. I also think my lungs could use another week of clearing before I fly again.
We've told our daughter Katie to tie pillows around herself and sit on her bed until we return.

Sorry that I didn't see this sooner. Indeed, it seems that you are under a spiritual attack, but put your faith in God, as I know that you do, and all will be well. He is in control.
My sincere prayers that you and your wife will get over this virus quickly with no lasting or secondary infection.
...and that your children will get through these broken bones with no lasting effect....
...and that you all will be able to endure the strain and stress of the next few weeks and persevere in your faith.
May the Archangel Michael and your guardian angels protect all of you each and every day, and get you and your wife back to the children, safe, sound AND healthy!
