In the prayer of St. Basil on p 3 of the GB, there is this line:
"Let them give me confidence in you and love for my brothers and sisters."
In looking at what I think is the same prayer in a book published by the Orthodox, I don't see anything like the line above, but I find this line:
"And let these holy gifts be.....unto the averting of every fantasy, evil deed and operation of the devil, which mentally works in my members."
Also in the prayer by St. Simeon on p. 9, I see the word "woman," whereas in the book published by the Orthodox I find "harlot."
What's up here?
