Dear Anhelyna, I thank you very much! Today is the Old Calendar feast of St Alexander, Pope of Rome, St Aristobulus of Britain, St Christodulos of Patmos, Sts Sabinas and Papas, et al. And it is also the OC feast of the martyrdom of St John de Brebeuf and the Jesuit feast of the entire choir of North American Jesuit Martyrs. Very nice picture above!  Alex

Mine would egg me on I mean I celebrate my husband's Birthday during the Fast so why should I not celebrate a friend's B-day And my SF is a loooooooooong way away :P

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Last night, my wife took me to a restaurant and we sat in a corner facing the street.
Then, I saw what I couldn't believe - there across the street was the Church in which I was baptized 51 years ago.
Even though it was an enjoyable evening with "she who must be obeyed," it was also a time to reflect on how I have lived my baptismal commitment, a time to feel sorrow for having offended God so many times and also to ask God to grant me the grace to live in closer union with Him.
