It is strange while some singing of "Christ is Risen" during the liturgy remain, the one at Communion is removed. Is this a "Greek" usage reason? What is the explanation?

Mr. Ungcertezs:
Do you own a Ruthenian "Apostol?" To the best of my knowledge, the book is quite available for purchase. All of these rubrics are contained in that book, which has been available since c. 1950. Not new, not Greek.

...but they differ from the old Levkulic pew book. What is the reason?

U-C,
It is the Levkulic book that differs from the Apostol not the other way around. It may not be mandated but I see no reason it cannot be among the hymns that are sung during the Communion of the faithful.

Fr.Dn.,
I talking about the the tradition of singing "Christ is Risen" before and after communion and of course at the beginning of liturgy and at the dismissal until Ascension Thursday. By tradition Ruthenian Greek Catholics, ACROD Orthodox, and most Ukrainian Catholic and Orthodox Churches also do this.
So it seems the Ruthenian Metropolia does not want to continue this tradition by eliminating the "Christ is Risen" after and before Communion after Bright Week.

CHRIST IS RISEN!
It is quite true that the Ruthenian (Church-Slavonic) Epistle book of fifty or sixty years ago reduced the usage of Christ is Risen to replace certain hymns following Holy Communion during the period from Thomas Sunday to the Leave-Taking of Pascha (the day before Ascension Thursday).
It is also true that in a great many places there is a custom of singing Christ is Risen at these points in the Divine Liturgy, and I've never noticed it disturbing anyone.

Thank you Father,
I looked at several Ukrainian Typikas for Paschal rubrics, and they use the full Paschal celebration, as is the Ruthenian Recension tradition.

Fr. Serge,
I'm looking for a Ukrainian Typika from L'viv that is in English. Where can I find one?

Is it still custom to close the doors of the iconostas again after vespers (in parishes where they're held) for Thomas Sunday (on Saturday night)? I've heard that there have been some churches that keep the doors open all throughout the Easter season.
