Please keep our brother and fellow poster, Todd, in our prayers as he struggles with work, his studies, his responsibilites to his mother in her time of need, and his own unruly body that robs him of the energy that he needs so badly.

I ask these prayers in the company of our brother Gordo.

Lord have mercy!

Dear Todd,

May the Holy Spirit Who proceeds from the Father and rests on the Son grant you strength and inspiration to overcome your current challenge!

May He Who Deifies us through Christ in His Uncreated Energies come to your assistance by the intercession of our Father among the Saints, Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thesalonika!

I thank everyone for their prayers, because they are a great comfort to me and to my mother; and although my doctors have not been able to determine precisely what is wrong, they have begun giving me medication to try and control the tremors effecting my arms, face, and head.

In spite of my continuing health problems, I thank God for the gift of life, and I pray that I use this precious gift which He has entrusted to me in order to the glorify of His holy name.

Dear Todd,

Please forgive me that I didn't respond sooner. I just made the connection with you and your screen name....

May our Lord be with you and your family and may our sweet Theotokos shield you with her mantle of protection. May St. Michael the Archangel ward off any and all attacks of evil spirits upon you and your house.

I pray for a cure you of this attack on your health, and I pray this fervently and humbly through the intercessions of all the holy Saints of Heaven which you hold dear.

In the most powerful name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. AMEN! +

With love in Christ,
Alice

For Todd, Marian, and all others in need, who would like to beseech the loving and powerful intercessions of our blessed Mother of God, the ever-virgin Mary...I offer you this link to the Paraclis/or Supplication Service to her.

http://hometown.aol.com/dtbrown/paraclisis1.html

It is Byzantine Catholic, and the prayer service is a more condensed form than the Greek, but I think that it is excellent for daily supplication in time of great need because: 1. the translation is excellent and easy to read and 2. It takes about ten minutes to read and pray vs. the Greek which takes one hour to read and pray!

In Christ,
Alice

Hear all the prayers of your faithful servants gathered here Jesus, and bring them to everlasting life...

0 Christ our God, who at all times and at every hour, both in heaven and on earth, are worshipped and glorified, long;suffering and plenteous in mercy and compassion; who love the just and show mercy to the sinners; who call all men to salvation through the promise of the blessings to come: Do you, the same Lord, receive also our supplications at this present time, and direct our lives according to your commandments. Sanctify our souls; purify our bodies; set our minds right; clear up our thoughts, and deliver us from every sorrow, evil and distress. Surround us with your holy Angels so that being guarded and guided by their presence, we may arrive at the unity of the faith and the knowledge of your ineffable glory; for blessed are you unto the ages of ages. Amen.
