The book and video is affiliated with Harvest Bible Chapel, pastor James McDonald. Anyhow, last week we reviewed "God on the Throne". The pastor described Isaiah, Ezekiel, St. John in Revelation, etc and stated how splendorous and majestic God is. He went on to compare the ever-flowing, never-ending robe worn by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth during her wedding - and how this robe is only appropriate for her office, and the metaphor of "God's robe" in light of HIS MAJESTY.

He went on to say that nowadays we can't find such things in daily life. All I thought of was the wonder and awe of our Holy and Divine Liturgy - for me the Holy Qurbono of the Malankara Church - but the same holds true for all our Apostolic Churches. We are all connected, we are all one in supernatural ways - and it took a (non) protestant minister to say it!

Imagine how moved they would be to SEE that we still celebrate the way the Scriptures intend!! Just think of how much they are missing, and just our invitation would convert their hearts!

Of course, the irony is that they would see the glory of God's house and say "That money should be spent on the poor."

Sigh. frown
