Does anyone know much about Southern Catholic College in Atlanta? I only know that it is only a few years old.

Like what?
The campus there is an old golf-resort type property. I actually went to a wedding reception there several years back before it was sold to the college. (The college originally had a lot of land down near the "Dawson 400" area).
Based on that, they are a bit limited in what they can do as far as a "campus" is concerned because you have to retrofit a lot of buildings over to class room space.
But, from what I hear, they have steady enrollment, etc.
I'm not sure about what mindset (progressive, traditional, etc) the campus chaplain is.
One of the parishioners at Epiphany teaches there, I think.

Thanks, I saw that they had just advertised a Library Director position. I was contemplating applying for it, but I know little about the school.

Yeah, but it's in Dawsonville, not in Atlanta, right? I don't know anything about it.
The Archdiocese of Atlanta is fairly traditional (I mean, not as much as in the past with Wilton Gregory now the Archbishop...gag), but still pretty good. I imagine being Southern and in a traditional(ish) Archdiocese the college is probably more or less orthodox.

Joe Joe, And, while you're at it, perhaps they'll have you teach a little bit of philosophy as well? Hope it works out for you if you decide to take the plunge. Gordo

Go for it, Joe. And then I can drag you to TLMs in Atlanta and you can drag me to DLs. Sounds fair to me! LOL.

Alexis Alexis, It is still my hope that we will be to enjoy the TLMs and DLs together, even if I don't apply for the job Joe

Joe: From what I understand, they have some EC's and I think a ROCOR person on staff there in some capacity - so you would be in good company. There's quite a bit of an Orthodox presence in the metro area that you could get to Divine Liturgy. http://www.atlantaorthodoxchurches.org/The map on that page doesn't include the ROCOR parish in Roswell, though. Good luck with the library job. Having worked in the public library sector in Georgia, that field is rife with infighting and politics (who woulda thunk it).
