Just curious what you thought about Mitt's performance as governor. I like Mitt a lot, though I'm uneasy about his various conversions on abortion. What do you think of him?

I think Mitt showed Himself to be Pro life with His stance against embryonic stem cells research in MA.

Also he did not have "various conversions". He changed His stance once about 2 or 3 years ago when He came over to the Pro-Life camp.

Mitt is not the first one to switch sides on the issue of abortion but He is in good company with Ronald Reagan.:)

In the most liberal state in the USA he lowered taxes, balanced the budget every year He was in office and WOULD NOT TAKE A SALARY.

Considering the fact that that He was fighting pretty stern opposition He ran a very Conservative policy in a borderline socialist state.

I think Mitt is a Brilliant businessman, strong leader and a man who is not afraid to face difficult issues.

His tough stance on Islamic Jihadism and the Border issue show that He is in tune with problems we face today. In fact He was one of the first people to speak out against the amnesty doctrine of John McCain and Teddy the Red Kennedy.

I am certain He will make one of the best American Presidents of our times.

Keep this thread going. You might be convincing me on Mit. I like what I am hearing so far.

Many people have an awakening when it comes to abortion when they peel the scales from their eyes and see the facts.

Stivvy,

I think that most people don't like Mitt because they don't know enough about Him.

To know Mitt is to love Mitt.

Let His interviews, debate performances and family values and performance in MA speak for Him.

This guy can lead this country to a brighter future and I'm sure of it.
