Dear John,
Yea the poster got to me a bit. Not that I felt threating I didnt but I know what I went through in the Mormon church and what kind of anguish I had to deal with. I too was involved with the YW and was president of YW when I was a youth in the LDS church, and a 5th year camper in the YW program, which I am proud of. I had fun time in the lds church when I was younger, all though it was shoved down a yw throat about marrying a RM (return missionary). ugh All my problems started after becoming a adult.

As for my name it is real easy to explain. Ms Hannigan is a character in the movie Annie, so I took the Hanni part. and 49er is for the 49ers who were the favorite team of my late boyfriend....so you get Hanni49er.

Thanks for the post, I am not trying to start problems but grr I have alot of dislike for some of the people I dealt with in the mormon faith.

I am glad what I am now. CATHOLIC

Take care
Hanni

I wonder if there could ever be a "Mormon rite" in the Church for Mormon converts?

They could emphasize veneration of the prophets, saints known for prophetic utterances, focus on strong communal "good living" principles, read deuterocanonical and patristic literature as a compendium to Scripture, have a mandatory missionary program etc.

As for polygamy, they could simply say that "they learned their lesson" and now limit themselves to trying to make just one wife overwhelmingly happy with them.

Dear Alex,

The best liturgical contribution the Mormons can make is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - provided that they sing a capella!

Bless, Father Archimandrite,

I understand they have sung Masses too!

Two things I can learn from them is to sing and to make money.
