Dear Annie,
You're lucky! I know of one young girl, that suffered from eight to ten days a month, with three days of cramps so severe that she wasn't able to go to school. Now explain that to the teachers.

It affected everything in her life, not to mention the amount of pain killers she was taking every month. Birth control pills turned out to be the only thing that helped. It lessened the pain and cycle.
What the medical profession is not trying to find out, is the wherefore and why menstrual cramps are such a problem with some women. I know I suffered a great deal, but it was only for one day, and my mother told me that cramps were unheard of when she was young...and living in Greece.
Does this problem have to do with our diet?
God Bless,
Zenovia
