As a nearby yunzer, and as a Slav, though I'm Polish and not Ukie or Rusyn (to my knowledge, maybe there is some family from there from who knows when), the name of the place is -

Uniontahn! South of Pixburgh n'at. Uniontownski is okay with me, though.

Sharon, its true that youre from Ahia. I have heard Calumbis, too.

Maybe Ill see some of "yunz" tomorah!

Although I've been to the Mount on previous occasions, this will be my first journey as a "peregrino" (Sp. for pilgrim). I arrive Sunday afternoon in time for the candlelight procession. If anybody cares to introduce themselves, I'm the tall, dark, and grey cassocked deacon, probably not hard to miss.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Nor am I hard to miss: short, fat, still have all my hair, wear glasses, carry a black briefcase. Will be carrying the Vespers for the Nativity of the Theotokos and the Vespers for the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross for those who asked for those services.

God give everyone safe journey and a grace-filled time of pilgrimage.

(leaving for Uniontown today at noon;
cantoring the 5 p.m. Divine Liturgy
for the holy day)

I will be there Fri and Sat night. I'm the short, pale, and black cassocked subdeacon with the red goatee. Please come on up and introduce yourselves.

In Christ,
Subdeacon Lance
