Sister in Christ, Besides Father Staniloae, whose works I highly recommend to anyone, Sebastian Brock is a fine exeget of Saint Isaac the Syrian. You might read this book [ amazon.com] , if you want, namely The Wisdom of Saint Isaac the Syrian. Peace in Christ, Marian+
