I just walked by the t.v. with CNN tuned in, and what did I see but two men holding hands and being interviewed about their gay marriage. In a kind of shock, I watched. It seems that they were legally married in the State of Iowa (in the U.S.) last week. A lower court in Iowa ruled that same sex marriage was o.k. in that state. That ruling was stayed (put on hold till a higher court can consider it) four hours later. In the meantime, this happy couple got married. And, as the video showed, they said their vows and kissed

; and then they went on their
honeymoon; and now they are being interviewed on t.v. about it all. Thoughtfully, they aren't yet ready to adopt kids because they are still in college . . .
You know: I can see equal rights for all people. But gay marriage?

I just saw the latest example, and I'm not liking it . . .
But, hey, this is CNN. Following that story, there was a story about how a man called upon his Wiccan gods and won the lottery . . .

Lord have mercy.
