I'm pretty sure there's pictures on the ACROD website, as Metropolitan Nicholas was there. www.acrod.org [acrod.org]

I hope Steve , Andreios and any other attendees can keep posting details of their rewarding experiences at the Conference in Uzhorod. The agenda and the leaders of the sessions that was posted made it inviting for all Byzantines to want to attend.

It was mentioned that there were priests and others from Canada that went over. I am wondering who represented the Canadian Slovak Eparchy at the Conference, as I don't believe that Bishop Pazak attended?

Father Anthony,
all papers will be printed in a book. There were several presentations in English, but all presentations in Ucrainian and Slovak had a parallel translations made as hand-out, i.e. xerocopies of English (and Ucrainian) translations were delivered immediately before every presentation. I think many of the participants will bring them home, so you can ask them to make a copy for you, if you want not wait for the book.

Zemplin Byzantine,

vladyka Pazak was not present, nor was I able to notice a presence of anyone from the Slovak Eparchy. Only people I noticed from Canada were Fr. Petro Galadza and his son Daniel from the Sheptytsky institute. (May be there were some others and may be there was someone from the Slovak Eparchy and I simply did not noticed them.)

Marc Wisnosky,
the only report I found there was a short press release [acrod.org] . I will check later.

I was mistaken, it was a press release about the Metropolitan's visit to the Greek Catholic Chancery of Presov

cool, anyway.

I am slowly in the process of adding pictures, and captions, to another of my blogs, which includes details my trip to Uzhgorod, 2006. Be patient. There are many more pictures to come!

My Uzhorod/travel blog [vechernaja.blogspot.com]

The conference itself was only 3-1/2 days long. But they were busy days!
