A woodpecker just pecked two holes into our house. The piece of wood siding was fresh and relatively new, and not rotting like the last time he did it. (we changed it a few years ago)

Does anyone know any remedies (natural or otherwise) to keep this pesky creature away now?!?!? ARGH!

Thanks,
Alice

Joe,

I was actually thinking the same thing. Though, I really do not think it is legal in the area Alice lives. wink

A high powered pellet gun would do the trick and not make much noise.

That's right Father. Most of my relatives live out in the woods but NYC is not firearms friendly.

Simple. Go down to the toy store and buy the largest rubber snake they have and simply toss it on the roof near where they are rapping. I promise, no more woodpeckers!
