Daniel, a young man from our Church is not doing well. He is comostose, the doctors do not know for sure what is going on. Please keep him and the family in your prayers.

Daniel is 21. He is in Colorado, his parents flew out there, and got there during Liturgy tonight. So that was good we were in prayer for them.
Once they got him to the hospital last night, which took a while, it took another 20 minutes before they found a doctor to see him because the hospital is so small. From what they have said, he is not doing well.
We are doing the Paraclisis tomorrow at Church at 3PM for him.
We had a young man a few years ago that you were all praying for, Matthew - he was 17 at the time, they said he would not make it. I can't remember the % they were giving of his brain and heart being dead - something like 95%, but Matt is alive and active and doing well. He is a little slow sometimes, but over all, he does really well. The doctors say it was nothing short of miraculous.
God did a major miracle for Matthew, and I know he can and will do the same for Daniel.

Lord have mercy on Your servant, Daniel. Through the prayers of the Theotokos, heal and restore him body, mind and soul to his family. Give wisdom to the doctors and peace and consolation to his family members.

Please remember Daniel of blessed memory and the entire family in your prayers.
Daniel was 21, had a wonderful life ahead of him, but his body reacted to medication he was taking. His cousin found him gasping for air, they took him to the hospital which took about 25 minutes. Then because the hospital is so small, they do not keep a doctor on staff for emergency, so that took another 20 minutes before someone could see him.
The hospital could not provide what he needed so they wanted to take him to Denver, but the fog had everything grounded. So he had to go by ambulance. Once there, they wanted to do dialisis, but then his blood pressure dropped. There was nothing they could do for him.
Daniel went to eternal rest about 11PM last night.
Now the family has to see what needs to be done there, and then bring him back to Birmingham.
In God's mercy, Daniel was home last week, and had visited with everyone. He was going back to get all of his stuff together and move back home this week. The last memories of Daniel for the family and friends here were good ones. God is merciful!
