Charles, You may want to check your IE settings/options to ensure that you do not have "clear your private data upon closing" checked. PM me, and I will try to figure out what may the issue may be. Daniels whiskey down there.  I checked IE and it's OK. BTW, I think they are selling the whiskey if its safety is verifiable. When they can't prove it's safe for comsumption, they are dumping it. Charles - could this be something to do with a certain firm in , I believe , Redmond ?? Try a change of Browser - Firefox works for me and my MacBook

I keep hearing about Firefox but haven't tried it. My "glitch" has apparently fixed itself. I turned the computer on this afternoon and everything is fine. Must have been some kind of conspiracy by Bill Gates.

Charles - you mentioned the-name-which-shall-not-be-mentioned . Now wait and see what happens to you  I don't have stuff from that stable on my machine hence I use Firefox [ never did like Safari and so far have not even looked at Safari 3  ]
