Here is a strange twist. Since it is an article from Time Magazine Online, only the link can be provided. Sunday School for Atheists [ time.com] In IC XC, Father Anthony+
Everyone baptized into Christ should pass progressively through all the stages of Christ's own life, for in baptism he receives the power so to progress, and through the commandments he can discover and learn how to accomplish such progression. - Saint Gregory of Sinai

SO in other words, they copied the idea from Christians, in the ever so common practie of Hypocracy form Secular Humanists, who often say everyhign in Christendom was copied form the Pagans aroudn them in an attempt to de-legitimise them, btu are OMK with the same pracitce themselves...
Incedentlaly the article is misleading, usign the same comments I hear form Humanists. SUch as sayign the camps are for "Atheism and Agnostoc" with "Other raitonalists". THis indicates that Ahtiests and Angostics are Rationalists. They arne't nessisarily. Simpky denying God eixsts, ro statign that it is unknonw rather thye do or do not, doens;t make you a rationalist.
Just as the article says they ar emoe comfortable learnign Critical thinking, this is a joke. Humanists only say its Critical thining.THey usually only fidn themselves Critical of "Religion" (Christianity really... Humanism in and of itsself is a religion.)
Or hwo they "PRefer Rational DIscussions". Its as if beign an Ahteist and embracing Humanism means you automaticllay use reaosn and prefer raitonal discussions. And as if every time they have a discussion on how roten religion is, tis raitonal. And as if they discuss anythgin else.

Does the girl have the scarf on her head because of reverence of nothing-ness?

It does show how people do feel a void in their lives when God is excluded ...

I wonder if they go to the atheist temple, the mall/shopping centre, before or after their Sunday school?

"I'm a person that doesn't believe in myths," Hana (11) says. "I'd rather stick to the evidence."
I wonder if they teach that at Sunday School or if it's something her parents taught her.
