Dear Friends,
A priest, a lawyer and an engineer were sentenced to die by guillotine during the French Revolution.
When the priest was locked in, the lever was pulled but the blade wouldn't come down. To this, the priest said, "This is an act of God, so you must let me go." And so they did.
Then the lawyer was placed in the guillotine, and again the blade wouldn't release. Then the lawyer said, "You cannot execute a man twice - so you must let me go." And so they did.
Then the engineer was locked in, and again, no matter how hard they yanked the lever, the blade would not release. Then the engineer glanced upward toward the mechanism and said, "Hey guys, I think I can see your problem!!"
