Slava Isusu Khrystu!

I am wondering if any of the good members of the Forum would know if Ruthenian Greek Catholic and Ukrainian Greek Catholic Bishops wear rings as a symbol of their office and authority as Bishops?

Thank you,

John Doucette

JOHN:

The official picture of His Grace Andrew of Passaic shows him wearing an episcopal ring. You may find it on the Passaic website. I think retired Bishop George of Van Nuys has one in his picture on the Van Nuys website. I can't discern one in the picture of the current bishop of Parma or on the Metropolitan. I can't seem to find a picutre of the bishop of Van Nuys.

His Grace John of the Romanians doesn't seem to have one and appears to be very Eastern in his monastic habit.

I seem to recall a ring on both Ruthenian and Ukranian bishops, but I may stand corrected...
