HUH??? Doesn't sound right. How many stories high is the Statue of Liberty?

I know that the canopy over the altar is about 7 stories high. And all the way up to the ceiling of the Church is about 15 stories high. And the dome itself is about 11 to 12 stories high.

???

Perhaps you mean that the baldacchino (95 ft. -- http://www.stpetersbasilica.org/Altars/PapalAltar/PapalAltar.htm ) is higher than the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty (89 ft. -- http://www.cr.nps.gov/history/online_books/hh/11/hh11k1.htm ). The Statue of Liberty herself, however, is 305 ft. ( http://www.cr.nps.gov/history/online_books/hh/11/hh11k1.htm ) high.

cool

Hello gentlemen and ladies!
I'm back wink after a wonderful 5 days of rest and relaxation.
Resurrexit sicut dixit! Alleluia!

Yes my visit brings back wonderful memories of the my trip in 2000 for the Jubille year.
I hope to live that long to go again.
I went to all the four basilicas each day entering the door on my knees praying for a renewal of the Church and a healing of East and West.
As I recall from the spiritual experience, I had a sense that the Church would come under attack as a result of the Lord's pouring out many graces and the result of many conversions.
Interesting no?

Dear Father Stephanos,

Christ is Risen! TRULY He is Risen!

Thank you for sharing your soul and your thoughts with us and thank you for your prayers and offerings in the holy city of Rome for the unity of God's Church--

May God bless you always!

Respectfully in our Risen Lord,
Alice

I also pray that I will return to Rome with enough time to fully explore and venerate all the religious treasures there of our common Christian patrimony.
