Hi All,

Has this forum ever got/tried or did get together in person to meet each other
in person?

I have heard of other forums who have.

A few of us have managed to meet up on one or more occasions - but you have to remember that we are very very widely spread across the whole world

Dear Dandelion,

I've met about half a dozen and almost met the Esteemed Administrator a few years ago - but then the great blackout struck and we were grounded in Toronto.

I spent an entire afternoon with one woman who used to post here . . .

I guess that didn't come across very well . . .

It was a very exciting and pleasureable afternoon . . .

Oops again . . .

I have met people who have met Alex, (They all have very nice things to say about him!). That should count for something.

Two priests I know that I have met many times post here. They will not tell me their screen names though. That should count for something.

My cantor used to log on here - alas no longer.

I met Father Serge years ago, and shook his hand. I don't expect him to remember me though. That should count for something.

I met the Administrator years ago and sat at the same table as he for lunch. I mostly listened to the smarter folks chatting there though. I don't expect him to remember me either. That should count for something.

I would like to meet Alice. She is a source of civility and genteel discourse. As far as I know, I have not met her (unless she was doing the rounds at Midwestern Greek Fests this summer).

I met at least one person who posts here in Uniontown at the 2007 OLPH Pilgrimage. I'm not sure if he remembers me. Last year was our first year, but it is already in ink on the calendar for 2008 - so if you'd like to say hi in person I'll be there.
