SPDundas,
Stop being crazy!
What are you even talking about? Obama isn't Muslim. He is a professed Christian and an American citizen.
Put down the Kool-Aid and just think for a minute.

Some do have the messiah-complex regarding Barack Obama - of course I don't blame him personally, but some in his entourage are way over the top - i.e. Oprah...

The language of his speeches are tightly packaged. Seeing Obama as "he who will fulfill all of their hopes," they are readying themselves for a major disappointment if he steps in the Oval Office.
His contest with Hilary is nearly over. Donors are already hedging their bets with him. Once she loses Virgina, the superdeligates may slide over to his camp.

Terry I agree Terry. Obama is certainly charismatic and people love that aspect. He is running a positive campaign too. I read his interview in Christianity Today. The way he handled the abortion issue was masterful. Whether you are pro-choice or pro-life, he comes across in a positive light by saying that abortion is wrong, but sadly, he appears to use situation ethics in saying that the woman must make her choice after consulting with her pastors. He also stops short by NOT saying that abortion is the killing of a child.

I got it confused...I was thinking of Osama...
The whole time I thought it was him...but didn't realize the very minor spelling difference in the name...
But still Alexis didn't have the right to be such a JERK to me...I have NOT attacked him in anyway or to anyone...
GROW UP, Alexis!!!

BTW, I still don't trust Senator Obama (I got the right person this time...)...just because one professes a religion doesn't mean one is! This man grew up practicing the same faith as this Muslim sect that Osama Bin Ladin (I got the right name this time) practices in.
Even the Clintons professes the faith...but look at them...pro-abort, etc.

Spundas, you are in good company. Recently some Senator or Congressman made a speech (in front of a camera) where he made numerous references to "Obama bin Laden"... We still love you, and at least you won't have to deal with this running for re-election!

That was Ted Kennedy who slipped with Osama for Obama. This must have been after a couple of "toddies", because he supports Obama!

That was Ted Kennedy who slipped with Osama for Obama. That is right! That being the case Ted has nothing to fear. Short of actually endorsing Osama for president, I don't see how anything he can or has said would cause him to sweat election day! Massachusetts seems to have married for life that one...

GROW UP, Alexis!!! I'm sorry if I was a jerk, but since you said Obama, not Osama, I clearly took your words to imply what was written. That wasn't being jerky. You simply misunderstood, which isn't my fault, and makes me neither a jerk nor immature. Maybe you should take some responsibility for what you actually wrote and say, "Hey, Alexis, I see that your reaction makes sense since I actually typed Obama! To clarify, that's not actually what I meant." Doesn't that seem like taking the higher road, instead of assaulting me with punctuation marks? Alexis

Apparently, SPD is not the only one to confuse Senator Obama with the infamous Osama Bin Laden. And the Clinton campaign certainly did not help resolve the matter by insinuating that Obama is a Muslim when he has been a Christian now for some 20 years.
Yes, we all make slips of the tongue, some more than others.
I have a tendency to do so too, but my friends know this and always expect a good laugh at my expense. Thankfully, my fingers don't cause as much confusion as my tongue. I would rather type than speak.

Me too! The other day I held up two emptied clam shells and clicked them. I then said "Look, they're like katanas!"
My fingers don't slip as easily as my tongue. My family and friends have many stories of malapropisms I've made.

I too am guilty of numerous fallopian slips.
These things happen.
