Nothing's starting. Go on Sunday and you'll be fine.
Beware of gnomes.

LOL. What is starting? You forget that I am still a strict Thomist. I think his approach to God is the most reasonable and consonant with the Christian faith. One wonders why Byzantine Scotists never show up on these forums... Then again - without necessarily referencing the current participants of this discussion - I sometimes tend to think when the Thomists and Palamites duke it out, it is like a shouting match between OSU football and UofM football fans who neither played the sport or can call either their alma mater.

Dear Simple,
What would a Thomistic Palamite be like? And there is a "John Scotus Eriugena" from the ninth century whose theology would be agreeable with that of the East - mentioned by Fr. Geoffrey O'Riada in his "Celtic Orthodox Christianity."

Too bad E&W can't enjoy some Haggis with the rest of us, seeing as how they went and jumped the gun on Lent.

I'm sure they can get a "dispensation" - like the RC's in some areas who can have muskrat burgers on Fridays!

Dear East and West, You are of Hispanic background? You should have said that right away! Certainly, no descendant of Teutonic Spain would be amenable to Palamas! You have a beautiful religious culture and I understand that you take the statue of the Baby Jesus from the manger to Church on Candlemas (Our Lady Candelaria). Great. Alex
