God help!

I was wandering a question, for a certain reason.

After you will pass from this place, and you will fly to Christ...and Christ will look into your eyes, what will you say?

What will you say? Will you look into the eyes of Christ?

How you think of that special time?

It will be looking at our Creator, our Father, and we will not feel as we do in this dimension and reality--because what we will feel and see in the face of Christ will be nothing but complete, unadulterated love from our Father, our Creator...a love which this reality does not have words or expression or understanding of, no matter how much we try...unless ofcourse we have reached the great heights of spirituality as St. Seraphim of Sarov and others like him.

This is just what I think...

I think most of us will be so blinded by tears
that we can barely see Him Whom we have offended
by our countless sins, so we will try to say,

"My Lord and my God, have mercy on me a sinner."

But like Mary in the Garden, once we hear His voice
and recognize Him, our sorrow will be turned to joy.

Thanks for posting this question.

With Joy ! cool

Think about it, Marian. If you're looking into the eyes of Jesus, you are not in hell, your purification is done, every tear will be wiped away, etc. etc. etc. smile

So, I'm going to say, "Hooray ! Thank You ! I love You !"

And I'm going get a cigar and good drink, and I will lean over the balconey, and I will wave at everyone still here and and pray for them and say "Carry on, boys, carry on!"

I thank you for your answers.

Alice,

I re find my thought in your words. Christ's love is not like ours and His mercy is not like our mercy.

Sister Elizabeth Maria,

I also agree your word. I would say that our sins cannot offend Him. Offense? Would not be better the word 'crucification'. With every sin we mock ourselves, we do a madness beyond the capability of our mind to understand, we crucify Him without mercy.

John,

Joy. Agree. I read your post and you are so American! smile

My brethren,

When we will see His eyes, His face...perhaps in that special moment will begin the Kingdom or the hell. His Divine Beauty, the second person of the Most Holy Trinity...what mind would not stop?!

Truth is that narrow is the path and we must be very aware at every step.

Truth is that we must beg for God's mercy every day. As that woman who cried and teared at the feet of our Saviour.

Random thoughts...But I simply cannot stop thinking of Christ and His eyes and face.

God bless you all! Amin!

P.S. I am not too sure, but what means, brother John, 'purification is done'?

Do you mean purgatory or how do you see?

Marian:

It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. When Christ gazes into our soul and we gaze into His eyes, there will be no need for words. While we will never fully gaze into the essence of our Creator, the gaze we do experinece will be, for us, that perfect communion that we have been created for.

We will FEEL "Well done, good and faithful servant."
