Prayers go out for the kidnapped Chaldean Catholic Archbishop of Mosul Iraq, +Mar Paulos who was found dead today. Since the matter has been discussed in the Church News thread, it is now appropriate to offer our prayers for his repose here.

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Mar Paulos, ora pro nobis!

Memory Eternal.

I suggest sending donations in his name to the Chaldean Catholic Mar Abba the Great Seminary rector Fr. Andrew Youman, the originator of the inspiring videos The making of St. Andrew and Joe Everyman.

eternal memory and prayers for this holy man and those who were murdered along with him. a prayer of thanksgiving that the news was shared with viewers on the network news and not be an obscure item. may be just may be, Americans will wake up and see that that there are Christians in Iraq, that they are being persecuted and it is time that everyone's voices will be heard. may it be so, Amen.
Much Love,
Jonn
