Now that 'SimpleSinner' has asked forgiveness from 'Etnick', 'Slavipodvizhnik', any and all converts to Orthodoxy, and everyone who read his remark, perhaps it is time for some others who got personal with 'SimpleSinner' in their own comments to also ask forgiveness of him and the readers of this forum.

I ask forgiveness from all myself.

I agree with Father David and his wise and fair counsel!

Apologies need not be only from one side of the religious divide. When two have uttered sarcastic and offensive remarks to each other, both are accountable to ask for forgiveness, regardless.

As my good priest once said: 'when we are before the awesome judgement seat, the worst word that we can use will be 'but'...as in 'but he/she started it', 'but I was right', 'but I was not to blame', etc., etc....

Thank you, good Father, for reminding the posters of this forum of their equal accountability of charity towards each other.

We should not allow any one person or persons, regardless of their affiliation with a tradition or anything else, to be uncharitable and hurtful in their remarks to another!

Nothing brings us close to the Lord, regardless if we think that we are wrong or right, as humility.

I too ask for forgiveness of all for anyone I have offended in trying to make judgement calls here.

In Christ our Lord,

I, too, ask forgiveness from anyone I have offended in trying to make judgement calls here.

Christ is Risen! Indeed He is risen!

I agree, Alice.

There is not one of us here who is without sin.

May the Lord grant each one of us healing and forgiveness.

And may we rush to embrace each other as brothers and sisters in Christ during these last days of the Holy Pascha season.

Lovingly in the Risen Christ,
Elizabeth
