To my brother, A Simple Sinner, and to all whom I may have offended with my unChristian words, I humbly beg forgiveness. In my words, I sought not to correct and teach my brother, but rather to chastise and hurt. For this I am truly sorry, and now, in hindsight, see the depth of my cruelty, and approach you all, my brethren, with shame and remorse.

We all have buttons that get pushed and our fallen nature comes to the surface. The Desert Fathers tell us that it is by good men that some of these things are chained.

As for myself, I've got a quick temper, I admit it, and am constantly wondering why God has given me another day. Maybe it's because He is loooooooooong suffering.

I have been spending a few days off the forum and had not noticed this topic posted. I hope my failure to respond sonner did not seem aloof - I gratefully accept the sentiment and am relieved by own apology was received.

I think I am going to take June off from commenting as I have just started a new job (actually, returned to an old job) this month as my subcontracting business has slowed down considerably and I was in need of benefits. Besides having less time in front of the computer, this will give me some time to re-examine the approaches I take in making my points, and give me an opportunity to reconsider the tone I take, which is not always received - do to my own failure in presentation - as intended.

With a first name like 'Simple' and a last name of 'Sinner', how can anyone possibly stay angry at you for too long?!?!
