God is great! In all things give thanks and praise. I pray for all of you and give him thanks and praise for the way that you have touched my life.

I have been praying for everyone, especially at Church. I have not been posting prayers because I have been so tired, yet I know that is the time I need to be posting them. I fall asleep as soon as I get a chance biggrin

Fr. Deacon Stan is going to have another porcedure done on his left arm. It is very swollen because of the fistula they placed in there for use with dialysis. This will be the third time, they have tried to correct it. They are going to have to tie it off, and look into his other arm. I am afraid it will be the same thing there. The pain from his arm is making him very sick.

We are looking into home dialysis, PD type. Hopefully that will work out. A neprhologist will have to study his abdoman and see if it can take the access line there. It works through osmosis, and they use some type of sugar water for it - that gives some diabetics a fit, but others have no problem. Then once they know you are ok with everything, they put you on nite dialysis, then it works while you sleep.

God, I you know you can heal him if you so desire!
Make it so Jesus in agreement with your Word.
Truly Lord, he is stronger now, than he has been for the two years past his bypass surgery. I THANK YOU LORD!

THE GREAT NEWS IS HE SERVED HIS FIRST DIVINE LITURGY THIS PAST WEEKEND SINCE HE GOT SO BAD IN FEBURARY!

The people at Church were almost giddy when they saw him walk out from behind the iconostasis - some did giggle out loud. The men, they were grinning from ear to ear. He said when he began the first litney he asked the Lord how he was going to get through it. He said the Holy Spirit just took over - St. Georges uses the full three litneys in the DL with full processions for both Entrances - so the Lord really took charge.

He was so excited. He has come so far, yet in many ways has a long way to go.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Dear Lord,

Please make better and heal your servant, Father Deacon Stan...

We pray this in agreement and with love for our forum sister in Christ, Pani Rose...

Remember dear Lord all the good things which they have done for you, and how much more they can do for Your sake and the souls of your beloved children, and hear our prayers on their behalf.

St. Nektarios, please dear holy, sweet and humble bishop, who suffered so much in this earthly life from jealousies, slander, homelessness, poverty, hunger, and ill health...and at all times, praising God, and invoking the help of the blessed Mother of God, our sweet all holy one (Panayia), please intercede to the Lord and grant ever increasing health to Father Deacon Stan...AMEN!

In Christ, our Hope,
Alice

Prayers for Father Deacon Stan, that he be fully restored to health for his service to God and the love of his family

Prayers also for our beloved friend and sister, Pani Rose, and Deacon Stan's family and parish family, as they support him in his struggle with this illness and its complications.

I had wondered how Stan was doing. It seems that I have had both Stan and Rose on my mind lately. I think that was God telling me to pray for both of them. Prayers continue.

I am overwelemed with your love and concern. THANK YOU!

They had to give him antibiotcs at dialysis this morning. He had been up extremely sick all night with bad chills and throwing up. Sometimes it is hard to see the forest for the trees. Yet we have seen the miraculous so many times in our lives and those around us. I mean his being here is a miracle in itself.

Yet, I feel bad asking for your prayers, there are so many who are suffering in such worse ways than ours. I just don't know. I do know God is merciful.

The world is hurting, God's people are suffering so much. Yet, there is the awesomeness of hope. Paul says we hope in the Resurrection - all of this leads us to that solitary point of Resurrection with Christ. So, he says for that, we need to count it all good. And it is good!

We are blessed in that our kids help, but between my dad, my husband, and the granbaby I have three days I week. Well, I guess I am just blessed. Glory to God!

Thank you all for letting me cry on your shoulder!

I have felt this way myself, so I know how you feel in saying this, but we should not hesitate to call on each other to pray for each other...

May God continue to grant you all fortitude. Someday it will be stunning to see all the graces that your witnessing to God's Mercy has won for yourself and all mankind.

Christ is among us!

May God's healing touch today continue for Fr. Deacon Stan and family. May he be strengthened as he continues to serve in his parish.

In the Name of Jesus.
