Dear Friends,

Up here, the "church of Wicca" has its own chaplains in the government civil service and Wiccan adherents can take off their two main holidays, November 1 (Samhain) and May 1 (Beltaine)!

The five-pointed star can also be found on the annual report of the government chaplaincy service along with the Cross, Star of David etc.

Just thought you might like to know . . .

What I heard at one time was that Haiti in order to gain it's freedom from France, dedicated itself to satan. Now that shouldn't seem so strange since it is located on the same island as the Dominican Republic, yet unlike the Dominican Republic, is always in dire straits. frown

Also about mistresses, it seems that they were common in the Mediterrean countries of Europe...and that includes France. The Germans on the other hand were considered very moral in that respect, even by the pagan Romans...which might be the reason the Protestants became so Puritanical in contrast to Catholic Europe. Actually the cultural differences might have been the real 'force' behind the reformation. Of course that would exclude King Henry the VIII...or so I think. biggrin
