Oh, they are very serious. There was a fuss over a month ago because they had trouble finding caterers who would not provide fried food and determine that everything is organic or grown in state. http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/jul/08/food-guidelines-have-some-seeing-red-and-blue/

Their fuss will be interesting to watch. They are setting themselves up for failure and embarrassment (as far as "greening" goes).

I have an uncle who is planning on going to the convention (he's a journalist so it's a free ride for him) looks like he's going to have to hide his passion for red-meat, twinkies, and Coke from his fellow Dems. Sigh.....the poor man.
