A small question. At the top of the photo gallery forum it states "There is a limit of five photos per thread and one thread per topic." Has the 5 photo limit been relaxed? It would make posting easier for those occasions where only 5 pictures aren't enough. I notice that there are now several threads with 7 photos.

Thanks for the question.

The limit on the number of photos that can be posted is still 5 photos. It's a matter of bandwidth. If someone is posting more then 5 photos it would be better for them to put them up on a public site (where it does not count against our bandwidth) and then put one or two here with a link to the photo site.

On occasion we do accept large numbers of photos and treat them as news coverage (as we did so for many years with the photos of the Uniontonw Otpust by Photographer Joe Prokopchak of Pittsburgh).

Administrators are exempt, of course. [Hey! There has to be some benefit for those of us volunteering to keep the site up and running. Well, actually we just used the default settings provided by the software manufacturer.]
