Here is another Serbian Orthodox Chant video which uses Greek Chant. It too is beautiful and joyful.

And another beautiful Serbian you-tube video done in Greek chant.

It sounds like the morning matins (orthros).

kind of choppy in parts.

I remember reading somewhere that there is a debate in Serbia whether to abolish the old "traditional" Serbian chant in favor of (re) adopting Byzantine chant in Slavonic. Well, both are beautiful, so I hope that the Serbians retain both!

Byzantine chant is compunctionate and grave, while the "traditional" Serbian chant is surprisingly modern-sounding and unique.

You know, my Eastern brothers, I envy your great variety of chant! You have Byzantine chant (in various forms), Serbian, Bulgarian, Carpathian, Georgian, a large number of Russian chant-forms (Valaam, Kiev-Caves, Znammeny and its various forms, southern Rus), etc. In the West, the old systems of chant have totally disappeared, bulldozed by Gregorian chant in its codified, Solesmes-Vatican interpretation. Gregorian chant is very beautiful, but having only one kind of chant is very problematic too...
