My company is laying off 500 people this week, with more projected for January. Please remember all those who are receiving news of the lay-offs (in my company as well as others), as well as their families who will be impacted, and their colleagues whom they are leaving behind.

Lord have mercy on these people and on all people who are in jeopardy of losing their jobs because of no fault of their own, but because of the economic situation our country and world are in.

There were quite a few layoffs last week in the home office already Deacon, 5 people on my floor and one below me. Prayers for all those affected.
