In my country call a white man a native and expect to see stars and that would happen in many places across the planet.
The term has a history of it's own and it's not nice. I am not a having a go at you personally but this is an international forum. I know quite a few Australians whom use the word "native" in a derogatory fashion, I have always found it hilarious because white Australians are hardly visitors to a foreign country anymore.

There have been very few posts on topic in this thread.
While some deviation has been fun and interesting, and I have enjoyed it, it has morphed into a subject matter of its own.
