where would a Greek Catholic man become trained for the priesthood if he lived in the U.K?

As far as I know there are no EC Seminaries in the UK - you have more chance in the USA - though of course you could always head over to Lviv

I figured as much, I wonder if one trained in the U.S one would most likely get stuck there and unable to return home. hah

An Englishman studied and graduated from SS Cyril and Methodius and went to the Archeparchy of Winnipeg of his own choice.

At cambridge yes but as far as I am aware it does not offer a masters of divinity or training programme.

Not having been ordained by the US bishop, he wouldn't become attached to the eparchy and "captured." hawk
