Another reason why I have a Mac. Have you ever looked at the list of viruses, trojan horses and worms out there? And seen just how many affect Macs?

Yup, it is rather frightening! I have one PC running Windows XP, The wife has Linux loaded on her laptop. The first chance I get I am going to load Fedora on my PC. Macs seem to have few problems with the nasty beasties that are out there and Linux seems relatively unaffected as well. Cheaper than buying a new computer. I am sick of M$ anyway.

You may want to add this little tidbit to what to watch out for. To know if you possibly have it, you have to read down into the article a little past half way for the clues.

And that is huge compared to the number that affect Linux.

Which is in turn large compared to FreeBSD, which in turn is bigger than OpenBSD.

(Actually, I think the number is "0" for both of the last two, but OpenBSD hasn't had a remote exploit of *any* kind for something like seven years now . . .)
