In the last few years, many Slavonic terms in the BCC have been replaced by Greek terms. How do we determine which word will be rendered into Greek or perhaps even English. Why wouldn't litiya be rendered as artoklasia, for example? Why wouldn't Matins be Orthros?

"Liti" is Greek. smile

The Liti/Litija refers to the procession (originally through the streets, now to the narthex or tetrapod), while artoclasia refers to the breaking of bread.
